The Arc Goes Green!
Redirecting Resources Towards Innovative Services for People with
Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities

We are excited to announce a new project for The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region and hope you will join us as we launch a comprehensive “Go Green” initiative designed to reduce ongoing energy expenditures while redirecting those savings to invest in people we support with intellectual and developmental disabilities to become self employed with their own “green” microenterprises. These enterprises will include business opportunities in paper shredding, and a variety of recycling ventures.
At a time when most non–profit organizations are experiencing funding cuts, The Arc is being proactive and looking for fiscally responsible alternatives to providing cutting edge services. In addition, we pride ourselves on being a community building organization, and this initiative dovetails with our core values as we move forward to create a socially conscious and eco-friendly organizational culture.
Your contribution to this campaign will energize The Arc with a gift that will literally keep on giving over time!
Sincerely,
Mark Dardozzi
