The Arc Partners With Harford Habitat For Humanity To Build Better Lives

The Arc
Northern Chesapeake Region and Harford Habitat for Humanity partnered on
this exciting new project to design and build a completely accessible
and affordable home for three gentlemen with intellectual and
developmental disabilities. The home features an open floor plan, wide
doorways, roll in showers, and an elevator so that the gentlemen can
access the entire house! There is a major shortage of accessible and
affordable homes in Harford County for people with disabilities…..and
with your help we can help to solve this challenge for the people we
support!
We received
grant funding through the Department of Health and Hygiene for a portion
of this project, but need to raise an additional $65,000 to finish the
