After d'ARc, March 29, 2008 Donate to The Arc Online!

The Celebrity Chef & Auction Event hosted by The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Maryland Golf & Country Clubs was attended by over 400 people including local celebrity chefs serving American and International cuisine. The event included a silent auction, martini bar, and music and dancing to the live sounds of Tony Berry and New Money. The evening culminated in the drawing of a winning raffle ticket for a community wide raffle sponsored by Smyth Jewelers.

Proceeds from this year’s event helped to fund additional renovations for The Arc Project, a campaign designed to renovate homes owned by The Arc to create more accessible housing. In addition, the event will provide vital funding needed for The Life Assistance Program designed to offer children with disabilities a variety of recreational experiences and friendships.
