Annual Report

On the behalf of The Board of Directors and Foundation of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region, we present the 2009 Annual Report. 

We dedicate this issue to Tim Quinn, Executive Director at The Arc, who passed away on January 10, 2010.  Tim led The Arc for 20 years as Executive Director.  Tim was a trailblazer who loved life, people, and creating change that made a real difference in people’s lives.   He was respected nationwide for his efforts on behalf of individuals with disabilities and their families and was a strong advocate for the many men and woman who work every day in support of folks who have disabilities.  

The stories showcased in “A Winning Recipe…Recreation Adds Spice To Life” all share the common ingredients for a meaningful life: integrity, respect, community building, responsiveness, team, inclusion and self determination.  These are not just the core values of The Arc, but principles by which Tim lived his life.
