LEGISLATIVE UPDATES
The Maryland General Assembly is currently in their 2006 interim session. The 2007 Maryland Legislative session will begin on January 10, 2007 and will end on April 9, 2007. Please watch for updates here related to issues effecting people with developmental disabilities.

To track pending legislation that affects people with developmental disabilities, please do the following:
1. Follow this website www.mlis.state.md.us to the Maryland General Assembly
2. click Bill Indexes & Profiles (third on the left)
3. click One or Two Subjects (second choice)
4. at the first drop down menu choose "Developmental Disabilities"
5. at the second drop down menu choose "Disabilities, Department of"
6. click Select
7. Current bills pending will appear.
