STAR CHEFS SHINE After dArc
[ABERDEEN, MD] - Channel 2 News Sports Director, Scott Garceau , Former Orioles player ,
Al Bumbry, E.J. Henderson, Minnesota Vikings player, and Billy Ripken, will join other celebrity chefs at the After dArc Celebrity Chef and Auction event hosted by The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region on Saturday, March 4 from 7PM to Midnight at Maryland Golf & Country Clubs in Bel Air, Maryland. "Chef", Scott Garceau, will be joined by Harford County Executive David Craig and Mrs.Craig , Mary Chance , Harford County Government , Delegate Sheryl Davis-Kohl , Bill Cox , Steve Fertig, Fox 45 News , Daniele Lemarie-Fleischer , Fred Simmons, Mayor of Aberdeen , and Tony Meoli and will be preparing an American and International menu. The evening will culminate in the drawing of the winning raffle ticket for a new Pontiac Solstice, the car featured on The Apprentice.
The event will include a silent and live auction, wine-tasting festivities, martini bar, music, and dancing orchestrated by Wright Still of DJ Saxman, who will perform live saxophone during the cocktail hour with music and dancing to follow. Ticket price is $125 per person. The Arc hopes to raise over $100,000 for individuals and children with developmental disabilities and their families who reside in Harford and Cecil Counties.

The Arc offers a wide variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Harford and Cecil County, both children and adults, to make informed choices in their lifestyles, vocations, education and recreational pursuits, and to assure stable and nurturing lives among their families and friends. The auction event will specifically benefit Supported Living Services at The Arc. Funds raised will help individuals meet the needs of everyday life, to remain connected to family and friends, and to take an active part in their communities.
