Pontiac Solstice Winner Announced!
[ABERDEEN, MD] - Diann Harris of Sparks Maryland is the winning ticket holder for a new Pontiac Solstice that was raffled to benefit The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region. Over 2,000 raffle tickets were sold and over $22,000 was raised in raffle ticket sales for the car that made its debut on The Apprentice. The winning ticket was announced by Scot Garceau, Channel 2 Sports Director, on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the After dArc event at the Maryland Golf & Country Clubs in Bel Air, Maryland. The raffle was sponsored by Boyle Buick Pontiac.
The Arc offers a wide variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Harford and Cecil County, both children and adults, to make informed choices in their lifestyles, vocations, education and recreational pursuits, and to assure stable and nurturing lives among their families and friends. Raffle ticket sales will specifically benefit Supported Living Services at The Arc. Funds raised will help individuals meet the needs of everyday life, to remain connected to family and friends, and to take an active part in their communities.
