[ABERDEEN, MD] –STARBELLY TOURNAMENT BENEFITS THE ARC NORTHERN CHESAPEAKE REGION

The local band, Starbelly, raised $2,500 at their annual charity golf tournament on June 24 th, 2006 at the Wetlands Golf Course in Aberdeen, Maryland to benefit The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region. The band members donated their time and music to over 70 golfers.

To date, the Starbelly golf outings have raised over $9,000 to benefit The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region to provide quality services for people with developmental disabilities. Inquiries for participation in next year’s tournament, including hole sponsorship, and corporate sponsorship may be sent via e-mail to starbellymusic@aol.com.

The Arc offers a wide variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Harford and Cecil County, both children and adults, to make informed choices in their lifestyles, vocations, education and recreational pursuits, and to assure stable and nurturing lives among their families and friends.
