[ABERDEEN, MD] – For the 17th straight year, the Bel Air New Car Dealers will sponsor a charity golf tournament with proceeds benefiting The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region.
The mixed tournament will be held on Monday, October 23 rd at the Maryland Golf and Country Clubs in Bel Air, Maryland where players will enjoy 219 acres of championship golf in a beautiful setting. Players in this year’s tournament will be competing for cash and prizes. By taking part in the tournament, participants have the opportunity to help The Arc and network with people in their community.
Community participation or sponsorship will help with a vital new initiative, The Arc Project, designed to renovate homes to enhance accessibility for people with developmental disabilities while continuing to help The Arc support children and families receiving services in Harford County.
Tournament players will have full use of the practice range, 18 holes of golf with cart, brunch, cocktails, dinner, and refreshments served on the course. The format will be a 2 Best Ball Florida Scramble (with handicaps). There will be many winners and prizes and a lucky golfer will be eligible to win a car for a hole in one. There will also be a raffle where golfers will participate in a putting contest where all contestants will win prizes with the grand prize being a " Week at The Beach Vacation". All contestants will have the opportunity to win $10,000 for a hole in one putt. Guests are also welcome to attend exclusively for dinner and participate in the raffle at a reduced rate.
“The Bel Air New Car Dealers Association is once again continuing their support to The Arc and enabling us to continue our mission in Harford and Cecil Counties. We are excited to offer an all new format this year and are in the midst of planning a unique golfing experience”, said Paul Levine, Event Coordinator for the Bel Air New Car Dealers to benefit The Arc.
Events such as this are only possible through the participation and sponsorship of generous individuals and organizations.
