Family Services
Learning Opportunities
Purpose: The following service learning opportunities
are projects currently underway in Family Services that need
completion. All of these projects developed from learning
the needs of the families that we support who have children
with developmental disabilities. It is our hope that students
will gain a better understanding of the challenges individuals
with disabilities face and that from this understanding these
students will become engaged citizens within their community
advocating for an equal quality of life for all individuals
no matter their abilities.
